Ripple has partnered with digital asset infrastructure company SettleMint to integrate Ripple Custody with SettleMint’s Digital Asset Lifecycle Platform, aiming to give institutions custody, issuance and management tools across the full lifecycle of tokenized assets. In a separate move, Coincheck Group teamed up with wallet infrastructure provider DFNS to build wallet-as-a-service and custody solutions in Japan supporting more than 100 blockchain networks. The partnerships target infrastructure gaps for regulated financial institutions in the Asia-Pacific region, where Chainalysis said on-chain crypto value received rose 69% year over year, making it the fastest-growing region globally. Japan has also recently passed legislation bringing crypto assets under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act.
