Transit Finance has announced plans to fully compensate users affected by a recent exploit of a historical vulnerability in an outdated TRON smart contract. The vulnerability, which impacted a small number of users, was identified and addressed by the team, who isolated the affected components and implemented fixes. An audit conducted on May 12 confirmed the security of the current contract version, which has been operating securely for over four years. The project assured users that details of the reimbursement plan will be communicated through official channels. Transit Finance also cautioned users to be wary of fraudulent messages and advised against sharing private keys or seed phrases.
