Space computing startup Starcloud has raised $170 million in a Series A funding round, valuing the company at $1.1 billion. The round was led by Benchmark and EQT Ventures, bringing Starcloud's total funding to $200 million. The company plans to launch its next-generation satellite, Starcloud 2, later this year. This satellite will feature multiple GPUs, including NVIDIA Blackwell chips, AWS server modules, and a Bitcoin miner to test orbital computing infrastructure solutions.
