Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister Manturov has been appointed chairman of the supervisory board for A7, a cross-border settlement system established in autumn 2024. Finance Minister Siluanov, Energy Minister Tsivilev, and PSB Chairman Pyotr Fradkov joined the inaugural meeting alongside A7 CEO Ilan Shor to discuss international settlement development and infrastructure stability. The supervisory board will serve as an advisory body focused on securing settlement mechanisms for Russian importers and exporters. A7 is jointly owned by CEO Ilan Shor (51%) and state-owned bank PSB (49%), and has previously faced sanctions from both the US and UK. The system has not yet issued its own announcement regarding the formation of the new oversight committee.
