Israeli citizen Michael Greenberg, also known as Mike Green, has been detained in Dubai in connection with the murder of Russian cryptocurrency figure Roman Novak and his wife. Although Greenberg is not accused of being the direct perpetrator, he is implicated in the case. Novak, who allegedly raised approximately $500 million through a fraudulent crypto application, was lured to the UAE under the pretense of an investment meeting in October 2025, where he was subsequently killed. The investigation is being conducted jointly by Russian and UAE law enforcement agencies.
