Tencent announced the upcoming release of two new large language models, Hunyuan Hy4 and Hy4 Flash, during its Global Digital Ecosystem Summit. The announcement was made by Dowson Tong, Senior Executive Vice President and CEO of Tencent Cloud and Smart Industries Group. Hy4 represents a significant upgrade over the previously released Hy4 preview, featuring enhanced capabilities for long-horizon and real-world productivity tasks, improved chain-of-thought efficiency, and the introduction of visual understanding. Meanwhile, Hy4 Flash is positioned as a cost-effective model designed for practical applications.
