Reserve Rights (RSR), the token behind Reserve's on-chain index funds, traded 54.5 times its usual daily volume in its mid-October 2026 jump. Only one day in CoinMarketCap's record ran heavier, and it marked the last cycle's top. Our Reserve Rights price prediction puts the 2026 base case at $0.0014-$0.0031 and the 2030 base case at $0.0066-$0.027.
That heavier day was 3 December 2024, when RSR traded 66.9 times its 30-day average on a 160.98% gain. No later close has topped it, and 90 days later RSR stood 74.11% lower. The mid-October 2026 bar closed at $0.002203, up 32.67% on a day when 121 of 135 stablecoin-margined Phemex perpetuals fell.

What Is Reserve Rights?
RSR is the token of the Reserve protocol, which issues DTFs (decentralized token folios), on-chain baskets of tokens that work like index funds. Holders stake RSR as first-loss cover behind Yield DTFs, and part of the fees that Index DTFs charge buys RSR on the market and burns it.
Phemex's explainer on Reserve Rights, the token behind Reserve DTFs covers staking and the burn in more detail, so this page stays on price.
Why Did RSR Jump in Mid-October?
RSR closed its mid-October jump day at $0.002203 on CoinMarketCap, up 32.67% from $0.001661 the day before. It was the highest close since 28 January 2026, and CoinGecko's close for the same day came in 0.13% lower at $0.002200.
The move ran against the market, with Bitcoin's Phemex perpetual down 2.30% at 81,813.5 and 121 of the 135 stablecoin-margined Phemex perpetuals with a move that day closing lower. Over 30 days RSR gained 50.47%, yet it still closed 8.78% below its last close of 2025.
No announcement from Reserve explains the jump. Its governance forum carries no post from that day, and its Snapshot space has held no new vote since the burn-gauge ballot of September 2026.
The Last Time RSR Traded This Much
RSR traded $286 million on CoinMarketCap on its mid-October jump day, 54.5 times the $5.25 million daily average of the 30 days before it. Across 2,669 days of RSR history with a 30-day base, from June 2019 to October 2026, only one day ran higher.
That day was 3 December 2024. RSR traded $1.641 billion and closed up 160.98% at $0.02633, which turned out to be the highest close of that cycle.

The wider record leans the same way. Of the 13 earlier days when RSR closed up 30% or more, all between 2020 and 2024, eight stood lower 30 days later and five stood higher. Phemex's guide to what crypto trading volume is and how it affects price explains why a volume burst this size draws traders in.
One detail separates the two days. The December 2024 bar closed 1.37% below its intraday high, while the mid-October bar gave back more than half of its range and closed 23.33% below its high of $0.002873. Buyers held the 2024 spike into the close and still lost most of it within weeks, and the mid-October buyers didn't hold the day.
Method: CoinMarketCap daily rows, with each day's volume divided by the mean of the 30 days before it and later closes counted in days. One CoinMarketCap volume print from September 2023, on a flat day and far above CoinGecko's figure for that day, is left out as a misprint.
What Does RSR's Price History Show?
RSR's record close is $0.1117 from 16 April 2021, with an intraday high of $0.1189 the same day on CoinMarketCap. The mid-October close stands 98.03% below that record. At 50.69 times the mid-October close, the 2021 peak belongs to a market that no longer exists, so it stays out of the ranges below and appears only here.
The cycle after it topped far lower. The 2021 record came after an 85-fold run from the December 2019 low, while the December 2024 top came after a 15.6-fold run from the September 2023 low and reached only 23.6% of the 2021 high.
The slide from that top ended at $0.001066 on 30 June 2026, the lowest close in RSR's CoinMarketCap history, with an intraday low of $0.001046 the next day. By the mid-October close RSR stood 106.6% above that low.

Every level and range on this page comes from CoinMarketCap. CoinGecko's RSR history runs as much as 171.8% above it between January and March 2026, with a 2026 high of $0.004236 that CoinMarketCap never printed, so a chart built on that feed overstates the 2026 top.
RSR Technical Analysis
Every reading below uses CoinMarketCap's daily closes up to the mid-October close.
Moving Averages
RSR closed 48.28% above its 200-day average of $0.001486, with the 50-day average higher at $0.001554. The 50-day crossed above the 200-day in early October 2026, the first such cross since a death cross on 29 September 2025.
Phemex's guide to the golden cross and death cross shows how traders read the two signals. A golden cross that forms on a 200-day average this flat says more about the slide ending than about a new trend starting.
RSI and MACD
The 14-day RSI jumped from 53.19 to 74.87 on the mid-October bar, above the 70 line that traders treat as overbought. Phemex's guide on how to trade with the RSI indicator covers that reading and its limits.
MACD crossed back above its signal line on the same bar, after a bearish cross in early October 2026. Both readings describe one very large day, and a second day of follow-through would carry more weight than either.
Support and Resistance
Support starts at the May 2026 high of $0.002170, only 1.49% under the mid-October close. Below it the 50-day and 200-day averages run close together near $0.0015.
Resistance starts at $0.002295, the 28 January 2026 close and the last one above $0.002203. The jump day's intraday high of $0.002873 comes next, then the January 2026 high of $0.003076.
Reserve Rights Price Prediction 2026
Every Reserve Rights crypto price prediction on this page uses prices RSR has already printed on CoinMarketCap or its 200-day average, so no range rests on an invented number. Our RSR price prediction 2026 base case runs from the 200-day average to the January 2026 high.

The bear case runs from the June 2026 low to the 200-day average. The base case tops out at the 6 January 2026 close, and the bull case stretches to the 15 October 2025 close, the highest of the 365 days before the mid-October close.
Our lean for 2026 is the lower half of the base case. A volume burst this rare has marked a top once before, and an RSI near 75 says the jump ran hot. A close above $0.003076 would be RSR's highest of 2026 and move it into the bull case.
RSR Price Prediction 2027
For 2027 the base case runs from the mid-October close of $0.002203 to $0.006629, the 15 October 2025 close. The bear case covers $0.001066 to $0.002204, the June 2026 low back up to the mid-October close. The bull case runs from $0.006628 to $0.02633, the December 2024 high. Reaching its top would mean retracing the whole slide that followed the heavier volume day.
RSR Price Prediction 2028
The 2028 base case is the widest on the page at $0.001485 to $0.02633, from the 200-day average to the December 2024 high. The bear case runs from $0.001066 to $0.001486.
The bull case is $0.02632 to $0.02670, from the December 2024 close to that day's intraday high on CoinMarketCap. It's a narrow band because RSR's second cycle topped lower than its first, so the series gives no expansion rate to apply. Anything above $0.02670 is price discovery that RSR's own record can't support.
Reserve Rights Price Prediction 2030
Our Reserve Rights price prediction 2030 base case runs from $0.006628 to $0.02633, the 15 October 2025 close to the December 2024 high. The 2030 bear case covers $0.001066 to $0.002204, and the bull case keeps the same $0.02632-$0.02670 ceiling as 2028.
For 2029 the base case runs from the January 2026 high of $0.003075 to the January 2025 high of $0.01711, with the same bear and bull cases as 2030.

What About 2035 and 2040?

Even a return to the December 2024 high by 2035 asks for about 31% a year for more than nine years, from a token whose second cycle topped at less than a quarter of its first.
Can Reserve Rights Reach $1?
Reserve Rights reaching $1 would take a 453.91-fold rise from its mid-October close of $0.002203, or 94.2% a year to the end of 2035 and 53.8% a year to the end of 2040. Nothing in RSR's price record supports it.
At $1, the 62.55 billion RSR in circulation would be worth $62.55 billion. That's about 43 times the $1.47 billion CoinMarketCap recorded at the April 2021 peak, and $1 is almost nine times RSR's best close of $0.1117.
What Could Drive RSR Higher or Lower?
-
Holders set Reserve's burn gauge to High burn in late September 2026, with 86.27% of the 1.16 billion RSR cast. Each RSR the protocol burns also burns four treasury RSR and nothing unlocks, and the gauge-setting vote holds until the next one, which follows Reserve's Q3 report in mid-October 2026.
-
The treasury burn hasn't executed yet. Neither of Reserve's two locked treasury wallets has sent out any RSR since 15 January 2026, so the extra burn exists only as a vote result. Phemex's glossary entry on what it means to burn crypto covers how burned tokens leave circulation.
-
Fee growth sets the pace of every burn. Reserve's RSR documentation says Index DTF mint and TVL fees market-buy RSR and send it to the burn address, so the burn grows only as fast as those fees do.
-
The gauge can swing the other way. At the High growth setting each RSR burned would unlock four treasury RSR, and a future vote for any growth setting would put locked supply back into circulation.
What Are the Risks of Investing in RSR?
-
The jump faded inside its own day. A bar that closes 23% under its high leaves that day's late buyers holding the top of the range, and $0.002873 is where they would break even.
-
RSR's supply is fixed at 100 billion, and 37.45 billion of it sits outside circulating supply. Holders decide at every gauge vote how much of that locked RSR burns or unlocks, so the float can grow by vote.
-
The burn rule binds by promise. The proposal that adopted the gauge says Confusion Capital's pledge to follow holder votes on unlocking is a public commitment with no on-chain enforcement.
-
The name collides with other assets. Many tokens carry Reserve in their names, Reserve's own DTF tokens among them, and "reservation of rights" is a legal phrase that crowds the same search results.
Is Reserve Rights a Good Investment?
RSR is a high-risk bet that Reserve's index funds will earn enough in fees to make the High burn setting matter. Its market value at the mid-October close was about $137.8 million, against $1.40 billion at the December 2024 top.
We'd want two things before calling the mid-October move more than a spike. One is a close above the 50-day average that holds through the Q3 report and the vote after it. The other is on-chain treasury burns that match the September 2026 vote. Neither test had played out by the mid-October close. You can track both yourself, on a price chart and at the burn address.
How to Get Exposure to Reserve Rights
Phemex does not list RSR. Its RSR spot pair and both RSR perpetuals are delisted, so there are no RSR buying steps on Phemex.
-
Confirm the token is Reserve Rights with the ticker RSR, since many other tokens carry Reserve in their names.
-
Match the RSR contract against the live contract link in Reserve's own documentation before any swap in a self-custody wallet.
-
Set your levels from the 2026 table, where a December close under $0.001486 moves RSR into the bear case.
-

Futures use leverage, and a leveraged position is closed automatically if losses reach its margin.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Reserve Rights a good investment?
It's a high-risk token whose value rests on the fees Reserve's index funds earn. Holders voted in late September 2026 to burn four treasury RSR with every RSR the protocol burns, but no treasury RSR had moved by mid-October 2026.
Will RSR reach $10?
Reaching $10 would take 4,539 times RSR's mid-October 2026 close and value the 62.55 billion circulating RSR at about $626 billion. RSR's best close is $0.1117 from April 2021, and no range on this page goes above $0.02670.
What is the RSR price prediction for 2026?
Our 2026 base case is $0.001485 to $0.003076, from the 200-day average to the January 2026 high. The bear case reaches down to $0.001066 and the bull case up to $0.006629.
What is the RSR coin price prediction for 2030?
Our 2030 base case is $0.006628 to $0.02633, and the full 2030 range runs from $0.001066 to $0.02670. RSR hasn't traded above $0.02670 since January 2022 on CoinMarketCap.
Is RSR bullish or bearish?
On its moving averages RSR turned bullish with a golden cross in early October 2026, and it closed mid-October 48% above its 200-day average. Its 14-day RSI of 74.87 sits above the 70 line traders treat as overbought.
Bottom Line
RSR's mid-October jump trailed only December 2024 on relative volume and fell short of it at the close, and the 2024 version ended a cycle. What December 2024 lacked was a holder vote to burn four treasury RSR for each RSR the protocol burns. Until those burns show up on-chain, the precedent is the better guide, and our forecast leans to the lower half of the 2026 base case.
The level that settles 2026 is the 50-day average near $0.001554. A December close above it keeps the base case in play, and a close back under the 200-day average puts RSR in the bear case whatever the next gauge vote decides.
