Top TON Ecosystem Coins to Watch in 2026

Key Points

The TON ecosystem coins to watch in 2026, what each one does, what the Toncoin rename changed and how to check a jetton before you buy.

The top TON ecosystem coins to watch in 2026 are three Telegram game tokens (Notcoin, Catizen and Hamster Kombat) and two DeFi tokens (Tonstakers and STON.fi). All five run on The Open Network, whose base coin Toncoin became Gram in June 2026. None of them is safe by default, so match the address before you touch one.

Telegram games brought the crowds. Even the smallest game token on this list had about nine times the holders of the largest non-game token in early November. A holder is a wallet, not a person, and an airdropped wallet counts. So read those numbers as reach, because what the wallets do next is the thing to watch.

Five TON Ecosystem Coins to Watch

These five are a watchlist, not a sample of TON, and we could source each one to the project's own pages.

Notcoin (NOT)

Notcoin began as a Telegram clicker game, where you tap to earn, and grew into a small games platform inside the app. Its ecosystem page credits the clicker with 35 million users and 2.8 million on-chain holders, both the project's own figures.

Watch if those players stay, because a wallet that tapped its way to free NOT has no cost to defend.

Catizen (CATI)

Catizen is a Telegram cat game whose plan offers rewards to holders who stake CATI or join in games and votes. Its tokenomics page sets supply at "1 billion, which will never be increased."

Watch the release schedule. The plan holds back about half that supply for 12 months and then releases it evenly over 48 months, including the team's 20%. The page was last updated two years ago, so read it as the plan.

Hamster Kombat (HMSTR)

Hamster Kombat's September 2024 whitepaper calls it "a crypto exchange CEO simulator game built on Telegram with 300 million players," the project's own figure. It fixes supply at 100 billion HMSTR and says "60% of the airdrop's volume will be dedicated to the players."

A crypto airdrop is a free handout of tokens. The paper also promised a season 2, so watch if the game holds players after the giveaway.

Tonstakers (tsTON)

tsTON is the receipt you get for staking GRAM with Tonstakers, and you can move it while the staked coins keep earning.

The Tonstakers FAQ says "As rewards compound every 18 hours, the value of tsTON in GRAM terms continuously grows." CoinMarketCap's closes put one tsTON at about 1.17 GRAM, so you can watch it as GRAM's staking yield in a single price.

STON.fi (STON)

STON.fi runs a decentralized exchange on TON where you swap from your own wallet. You stake its token for voting power, and its staking guide says "The more STON you stake and the longer you lock it in the protocol, the more voting power you have."

Watch it as the plumbing for the other four. Each of them had its busiest TON pool on STON.fi in early November, by 24-hour volume on one tracker, GeckoTerminal.

What Is the TON Ecosystem?

The TON ecosystem is the group of apps and tokens built on The Open Network, a blockchain tied closely to Telegram. Telegram apps reach a wallet built into the messenger through a connection called TON Connect. That's how a game can live inside the chat app and still pay out a token on a public chain.

GRAM is the base coin, the one you pay network fees in. It closed late October at $1.21 on Phemex.

What Happened to Toncoin?

Toncoin became Gram in June 2026, and its ticker changed from TON to GRAM. TON's whitepaper overview says "Since the end of the vote to rename Toncoin to Gram, the official native currency of TON is Gram." The network kept its name, so TON is the chain and GRAM is the coin on it.

Holders didn't need to do anything, according to a June 2026 release from TON Strategy Company, a TON treasury company. It said no token swap or migration was required, with balances and addresses unchanged. So treat any link asking you to migrate or claim Gram as a scam attempt.

What Is a Jetton Coin?

A jetton coin is a token on TON, the same thing Ethereum calls an ERC-20 token. TON's docs on how jettons worksplit each one into two main parts.

A jetton master smart contract stores the total supply and names any admin who can mint more or change the token's details. Every holder then gets a separate jetton wallet contract that stores their balance. You check a token by its master address. A holder count is a count of those wallets.

GRAM itself is the chain's native coin, so all five tokens above are jettons and GRAM isn't.

Which TON Tokens Have the Most Holders?

Notcoin had the most on this list, and all three Telegram game tokens passed 1.3 million wallets in early November. Tonstakers came next with about 145,000, roughly twice STON.fi's count. Those figures come from one tracker, TonAPI.

They aren't a chain-wide ranking, since at least one token left out here had more holders than Notcoin. For scale, the median among the 114 tokens that CoinMarketCap's Toncoin ecosystem tag places on TON had about 12,000 holders, and five of them passed a million. Hamster Kombat, which the tag lists without a platform, would make six.

We'd read a game token's holder count as the size of its audience and little more. Hamster Kombat's whitepaper claimed 300 million players, and about 1.35 million TON wallets held HMSTR about two years later. That count misses anyone holding on an exchange, where one wallet can stand for many accounts. A tsTON wallet tells you more per head, because someone usually staked GRAM on purpose to get there.

How to Check a TON Token

The table below gives you the five addresses to compare against.

  1. Find the jetton master address in the project's own docs, and ignore any address sent to you in a chat or an ad.

  2. Open that address in a TON explorer and read the token's name and supply, then see who holds the admin role.

  3. Copycats reuse familiar names, so compare it with the table character by character. Take tsTON and stTON, which are two different tokens.

  4. Never connect your wallet to an app you don't recognize, even when a friend sent the link in Telegram.

The warning signs are the same on any chain, and a non-custodial wallet leaves the check to you.

What Are the Risks of TON Tokens?

The game tokens had the thin pools. Liquidity in crypto markets means how easily you can trade, and here it's the money sitting in a pool for you to trade against. On GeckoTerminal in early November, the busiest TON pool for Hamster Kombat held under $1,000 of it. Catizen's busiest held about $25,000 and Notcoin's about $50,000.

In pools that small, even a modest swap moves the price against you. STON.fi and Tonstakers each had an active pool holding more than $500,000, and none of the game tokens had one above about $150,000.

Prices fell together too. GRAM and all five tokens closed late October between about 17% and 30% below their 15 June closes on CoinMarketCap, while Bitcoin closed about 17% higher. The rename came that same month, and we don't claim it caused the fall. Owning several TON tokens didn't spread your risk much over that stretch.

Telegram also makes fake apps easy to pass around. A bogus game bot can ask for the same wallet connection as a real one, and once you approve it the address check can't protect you.

Which TON Tokens Are on Phemex?

GRAM is the one we'd point you to on Phemex.

  • The GRAM/USDT perpetual has been Listed since 6 July 2026, with leverage up to 20x and funding every four hours. The GRAM spot pair has been Listed since 29 June 2026. The old TON perpetual and spot pair are Delisted.

  • Notcoin's perpetual left Phemex in August 2026. Its NOT/USDT spot pair was still Listed in late October, but a 9 October 2026 notice says it will be delisted at a later date, so we don't offer it as a trade.

  • Catizen's and Hamster Kombat's perpetuals left in August 2026 and their spot pairs in September 2026.

  • Tonstakers and STON.fi have no perpetual or order-book spot pair on Phemex. Phemex Onchain runs separately and falls outside that count.

Futures use leverage, and a leveraged position is closed automatically if losses reach its margin.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Telegram coins?

It's an informal name for tokens tied to games and apps inside Telegram. Notcoin is one example. It began as a clicker in the app, and its token runs on TON as a jetton.

How do you buy TON coins?

If you mean the base coin, that's GRAM. Phemex has listed a GRAM/USDT spot pair since June 2026. For a jetton, you'd swap on a TON decentralized exchange from your own wallet after matching the master address.

Do you need to swap Toncoin for Gram?

No, going by TON Strategy Company's June 2026 release, which said no token swap or migration was required. Your balance and address stayed the same, and only the name and ticker changed.

Is tsTON the same as GRAM?

No, tsTON is what Tonstakers gives you for staking GRAM, and its value in GRAM rises as rewards compound. One tsTON came to about 1.17 GRAM at late-October closes on CoinMarketCap.

Bottom Line

A big holder count tells you how many wallets a game reached. For these five it told you little about how much money stood behind the token, because they sort one way by crowd and roughly the opposite way by pool depth.

We'd watch the game tokens for players who stay and the DeFi tokens for the crowd they haven't got. We wouldn't make a big swap on any of them before checking how deep the pool is.
