The top Avalanche ecosystem tokens to watch in 2026 are five C-Chain coins, and each one with a full 2026 record fell further than AVAX's 26.9% drop in 2026 to late October. LFJ's JOE and BENQI's QI come from DeFi and COQ is a meme coin. NXPC powers MapleStory Universe and YOM pays GPU owners who stream cloud games.
That's the trap in any AVAX ecosystem coins list. Buying a chain's smaller tokens looks like a bigger bet on the chain, and on this list it was a worse one. NXPC fell 51.05% and JOE 50.53% between the 2025 year-end close and the late-October close. Even QI's 29.86% fall, the mildest of the four, ran deeper than AVAX's 26.94% on CoinMarketCap's daily closes.

What Is the Avalanche Ecosystem?
The Avalanche ecosystem is every app and token built on Avalanche, plus the dedicated chains that projects launch as Avalanche L1s. Avalanche ecosystem projects on this list run from LFJ's exchange to MapleStory Universe, a full game economy with its own chain.
AVAX is the coin underneath all of it. It pays transaction fees and is staked by the validators that secure the network, as our explainer on Avalanche (AVAX) and its US digital commodity status sets out.
An AVAX tokens list could include every contract ever deployed on the C-Chain, so this one keeps to five tokens with a daily price history, each from a different corner of the network. If you're building a watchlist, the useful split runs between tokens tied to a working product and tokens tied to attention alone, and this list carries both kinds.
What Is the Avalanche C-Chain?
The C-Chain is Avalanche's Ethereum-compatible smart-contract chain, the one MetaMask and other Ethereum wallets connect to. Four of the five tokens on this list were first issued there as contracts, so the supply and owner checks you'd run on an Ethereum token work the same way on them.
NXPC is the odd one out. MapleStory Universe's builder FAQ calls Henesys an Avalanche L1, and NXPC is the coin that pays fees on it.
A bridged copy of NXPC lives on the C-Chain, where about 131.3 million NXPC existed at the late-October close. The project's credit-level rules don't count that C-Chain NXPC toward a player's credit level until it's moved back to Henesys.
Five Avalanche Ecosystem Coins to Watch
LFJ (JOE)
JOE is the token of LFJ, a DEX on Avalanche and other chains that describes itself as "a high-performance DEX powered by Liquidity Book DLMM," and it closed late October at $0.02980.
Liquidity Book is LFJ's version of an automated market maker, with liquidity held in discrete price bins.
JOE's contract caps supply at 500 million, and 499.8 million JOE existed at the late-October close. That left about 0.04% of the cap unminted, so new supply is close to nil for this token.
BENQI (QI)
QI is the governance token of BENQI, which runs liquid staking and crypto lending markets on Avalanche, and it closed late October at $0.002101.
BENQI's token distribution page lists 7.2 billion QI with every allocation marked fully unlocked, and community incentives hold the largest slice at 3.24 billion. The contract matched that total at the late-October close and has no owner or mint function, so no unlock or new issuance hangs over the price.
Our explainer on what BENQI (QI) is walks through how its lending markets and liquid staking work.
Coq Inu (COQ)
COQ is one of the Avalanche meme coins, and it closed late October at $0.0000001042 after a 2.74% slide on the day.
Its contract held 69.42 trillion COQ at the late-October close, and the owner address is set to the zero address, the standard mark of a renounced owner role. As a meme coin, it has attention and liquidity under its price and little else.
NEXPACE (NXPC)
NXPC is the native token of MapleStory Universe, the on-chain MapleStory economy run by NEXPACE, and it closed late October at $0.1732.
MSU's ecosystem page calls NEXPACE an Abu Dhabi-based affiliate of Nexon and sets NXPC's supply at a fixed 1 billion. Players earn NESO in the game and swap it into NXPC at 100,000 to 1.
On 29 September 2026, MapleStory Universe temporarily removed its Buy NXPC button "due to licensing considerations in certain regions supported by our on-ramp service providers," and the notice gave no date for its return.
YOM (YOM)
YOM runs cloud gaming on GPUs that gamers and telcos supply, and its source-of-truth page says 60% of every session fee goes to the operator who served it.
That page counted about 27,500 sessions streamed and 52 host machines serving them over the 30 days to late October 2026, figures YOM publishes about itself. The same page prices a Standard session of up to an hour at $0.08.
YOM closed late October at $0.01093 after a 7.46% gain on the day, one day after its lowest close from CoinMarketCap's first YOM quote in June 2026 to the late-October close. That left it 89.93% under its highest close to late October, set on 9 August 2026.
Did Avalanche Tokens Beat AVAX in 2026?
Not on this list. All four tokens on this list that traded through 2026 fell further than AVAX between the 2025 year-end close and the late-October close.

Method: each change runs from the token's own 31 December 2025 close to its late-October close on CoinMarketCap's daily closes. CoinGecko's daily points agree on all four, and Phemex's AVAX/USDT perpetual puts AVAX's fall at 26.87% on its own closes.
The pattern holds when you measure from each coin's 2026 peak through late October. AVAX closed late October 39% under its highest close of 2026, set on 13 January. QI finished 42% under its own 2026 high close and COQ 50.6% under its. JOE and NXPC were the deepest, at 58.7% and 59.9% below theirs. Every member with a full 2026 record ended further from its top than AVAX.
Four tokens make a small sample drawn from one list, and the result says nothing about the wider ecosystem. YOM sits outside the count because its CoinMarketCap price history starts on 5 June 2026.
It's a past record and no rule. A holder who wanted Avalanche exposure across those ten months lost less in AVAX itself than in any of these four.
What Are the Risks of Avalanche Ecosystem Tokens?
Deeper falls come first. NXPC and JOE each lost about half their value in 2026 to late October, so a holder took AVAX's slide and then some.
Thin trading is the risk that's easiest to miss. On the day of the late-October close, CoinMarketCap counted $287.2 million of AVAX volume and about $14.58 million across all five members combined, roughly 5% of AVAX's figure. QI traded about $773,500 that day, and in a market that thin your own large order can move the price against you.
YOM's token is an upgradeable proxy, and its code includes pause controls and a blacklist check alongside access roles. It wasn't paused at the late-October close, but a contract built this way can change after you buy it.
COQ carries the plain meme-coin risk, with nothing but attention and liquidity holding up a supply of 69.42 trillion tokens.
Upgrade powers and owner keys are the first two things to check on any new Avalanche token, and our guide on how to identify a scam token project covers the rest of the checklist.
Which Avalanche Tokens Are on Phemex?
Of the six coins on this page, AVAX alone has a live Phemex perpetual. The AVAX/USDT contract has traded since 20 December 2022 with up to 50x leverage and closed late October at 9.001 USDT, and AVAX also trades on Phemex against USDC and in spot pairs.
Futures use leverage, and a leveraged position is closed automatically if losses reach its margin.
The member tokens are a different story. JOE's perpetual and spot pairs are both delisted, the spot pair after a 15 September 2026 notice, and QI's spot pair is delisted too. NXPC's perpetual and spot pair are delisted as well, after notices of 11 August and 9 September 2026.
COQ and YOM have no perpetual or order-book spot pair on Phemex.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many AVAX coins are there?
Avalanche's platform whitepaper caps AVAX at 720 million coins. The P-Chain put an upper bound of about 475.8 million AVAX on the supply in late October 2026, roughly 66% of that cap.
Is AVAX crypto dead?
No. Avalanche's C-Chain kept producing blocks through late October 2026, and AVAX trades on Phemex. The price is the weak part. The AVAX/USDT perpetual closed late October at $9.00, 26.9% under its 2025 year-end close and 39.0% under its highest close of 2026 to late October, set in January.
Which Avalanche tokens are on Phemex?
AVAX trades there through USDT and USDC perpetuals and spot pairs. JOE, QI and NXPC each had Phemex pairs that were later delisted, and COQ and YOM don't have a Phemex perpetual or order-book spot pair.
What are Avalanche meme coins?
They're joke or mascot tokens on Avalanche whose price runs on attention. COQ is the one on this list, with 69.42 trillion tokens and a contract owner set to the zero address.
Bottom Line
Watch AVAX before you watch anything built on it. In 2026 to late October the chain's own coin took the smallest loss in this group, and the four members with a full 2026 record lost between 29.9% and 51.1%. A token list sells the idea that small names outrun their chain, and this list's record to late October ran the other way.
