Our Mitosis (MITO) price prediction puts the base case at $0.0071-$0.0100 for 2026 and $0.0100-$0.0166 for 2030. That's MITO, the token of a blockchain for cross-chain DeFi deposits, with no link to cell division. We think it can bounce, but neither range gets anywhere near its 2025 high.
CoinMarketCap's circulating figure for MITO sat at about 181.3 million in early November 2026, while about 745.1 million MITO had crossed the bridge to BNB Chain by that close. That pile stood at about 52 million at the end of 2025. A crossing isn't a sale, but a market cap built on the smaller figure leaves out most of those coins.

What Is Mitosis Coin (MITO)?
Mitosis is a blockchain for cross-chain DeFi deposits, and its docs say users who deposit in its vaults on other networks "receive Hub Assets on the Mitosis Chain that represent their deposits". MITO is the chain's token, and its token economy also has a time-locked tMITO and gMITO, a governance token you can't transfer.
Where Is the MITO Price After the Early-November Close?
MITO closed at about $0.00796 on CoinMarketCap, up about 8.6% on the day. Its 200-day average was more than three times that.
Volume that day came to about $12 million on the same tracker, roughly 2.7 times the median of the prior 30 days. That measures money changing hands and tells you little about how much the market could absorb.
Jumps that size weren't rare. Eleven of the 305 daily closes in 2026 rose at least that much, this one included, so we wouldn't read it as a turn. A coin like this moves fast, so check a live quote against every level you see below.
Neither the docs nor the website gives a dated cause for the jump, and the same goes for the GitHub code. We haven't been through X, Discord or Telegram, and the University site wouldn't load.
How Much MITO Is Really Circulating?
The trackers disagree, and the chain gives a bigger answer than either. CoinMarketCap showed the same 181.3 million on all but one of its daily readings. In early November CoinGecko showed about 481 million, and both list a maximum of 1 billion.
We counted every send and receipt through the bridge's router, the contract that moves MITO across, from August 2025 until that close. About 749 million went out to BNB Chain and about 3.7 million came back, which leaves about 745 million across. That's about 75% of the maximum and more than four times CoinMarketCap's figure. The router's own balance showed the same total.
Sends of 1 million MITO or more made up about 98% of everything sent, and six ordinary wallets made all of them. The 38 addresses that received those sends on BNB Chain held about 3 million MITO between them in early November, so nearly all of it had moved on. We haven't traced where it went. The chain doesn't say who owns any of these wallets.
None of that proves anyone sold, since coins on BNB Chain aren't proof of coins traded. No source we've seen ties those crossings to any move in the price either.
What it means for you: use the bigger number when you work out MITO's market cap. On CoinMarketCap's count that close implied a market cap near $1.4 million. On the bridged count, the same price implied about $5.9 million.
What Is tMITO and When Does It Unlock?
tMITO is "the time-locked version of MITO", created in the project's Genesis Airdrop. Its redemption terms read "After 180 days (from the close of the Claiming Window), each tMITO redeems for" 2.5 times the original MITO allocation, plus Bonus Pool rewards.
The tMITO contract still showed no lock-up end date at the early-November close, and the docs describe a 180-day lock that would have ended around March 2026. We count that from September 2025, when nearly all tMITO had been minted, since the docs' tMITO pages give no calendar date for the window's close.
About 61.8 million MITO backed about 42.5 million tMITO, and that MITO is about 6% of the maximum supply.
We tried two calls against the contract as a dry run. A redemption from the largest holder failed with a lock-not-ended error. Setting the end date worked from the admin address and failed from others. The contract can also be upgraded. So it was a lock with no date that one admin could set.
The docs' tMITO pages and the website give no date for the lock's end. The protocol repository's main branch last changed on 21 March 2026. We haven't covered X, Discord or Telegram and the University site wouldn't load, so an announcement could be sitting somewhere we haven't seen.
A normal vesting and cliff schedule gives you a day to plan around. This one didn't.
What Does MITO's Price History Show?
MITO set its all-time high on 14 September 2025, with a close of about $0.314 and an intraday peak of about $0.426 on CoinMarketCap.
The $0.00796 close sat about 97% under that closing high. A full recovery would take about 39 times the price.
MITO ended 2025 at about $0.065, and its highest close of 2026 to early November was about $0.082 on 12 May.
It then lost about 90%, which left it about 88% down on the year. Its lowest close on record, about $0.00712, came in late October 2026.
A fall that deep makes any bounce look cheap. We'd look past the chart to supply and deposits, because a coin needs a reason for new money to show up.
MITO Technical Analysis
Support
The nearest support was that record closing low near $0.00712, with the close about 12% above it. It was days old, so it had no track record as a floor, and there was no lower close beneath it.
Resistance
Resistance started close by. In the week before that low, MITO closed between about $0.0084 and $0.0092.
Above that came closes near $0.0100 and $0.0123, then $0.0166, all from September and October.
Moving Averages
The 50-day simple moving average stood near $0.0134 and the 200-day near $0.0257, with the close under both. That's what a downtrend looks like, and we wouldn't treat either as a target. The longer one still carried closes from April and May, when MITO closed at four to ten times its November level.

Closes climb back to September's level

The weak point in any price prediction for the MITO token is that floor. A close under about $0.00712 would be a new record low and would break our base case. A close back above $0.0100 would put MITO above that range.
Mitosis Price Prediction 2027
For MITO to trade at $0.00796-$0.0100 in 2027, our base case, tMITO has to get an end date and 61.8 million MITO has to reach holders without a new closing low. That release could land like cliff vesting, all on one date. If MITO gets through it and holds that $0.00796 level, we'd call it a decent year.
Mitosis Price Prediction 2028
Reaching our 2028 base case of $0.00796-$0.0123 needs deposits on the chain to grow again, faster than new supply. That's the real test, because deposits are what the chain is for.
Most of the numbers ran the other way in 2026. Eight of the ten Hub Assets on the docs' list shrank, while USDT and WBNB grew from tiny bases. USDC came to about 24,100 by the start of November, down about 91% from the end of 2025. The staked-ether token weETH fell about 34%. The receipt for pooled USDC, miUSDC, fell about 96%.
Mitosis Price Prediction 2030
We put 2030 at $0.0100-$0.0166 in the base case. Getting there needs real fee demand on the chain, with deposits back above their end-2025 levels.
Its low end is about 1.25 times the $0.00796 close and its top about 2.1 times, so it's a modest rebuild. Even the top would leave a buyer from the September 2025 closing high down about 95%.
We think fee demand is the harder half. People pay fees on a chain they use, and the deposit numbers point the other way.

From 2027 on, every figure in this table is a price MITO has actually closed at. We've rounded them to three figures. The base case is the range we lean to, and the full range runs from the record closing low to a stronger rebound. The 2029 row needs new buyers to absorb what has crossed to BNB Chain.
What About 2035 and 2040?
A price prediction for the Mitosis coin that far out would be a guess, so the arithmetic is more use. This table shows the yearly growth each target would need from that $0.00796 close.

What Are the Risks of Investing in MITO?
-
Thin pools. CoinMarketCap put MITO's on-chain pool liquidity at about $193,000 in early November, all on BNB Chain, though that's one tracker's reading. With about 745 million coins on that chain, a modest sell order could move the price hard.
-
The bridge and its token. MITO on BNB Chain is a synthetic copy backed by MITO in the bridge's router, and its contract can be upgraded. A fault in either would land on the supply we worry about most.
-
A short-notice release. The tMITO date field held only a placeholder, and one admin call could replace it. We can't tell you how much warning holders would get. Those 61.8 million MITO come to about a third of CoinMarketCap's circulating figure.
How to Get Exposure to MITO
Phemex's MITOUSDT perpetual and MITO/USDT spot pair have both closed. Exposure to MITO itself means holding the token on its own chain or on BNB Chain, with the risks above attached. Phemex's crypto futures cover other markets, and the button below opens them. Futures use leverage, and a leveraged position is closed automatically if losses reach its margin.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is mitosis crypto?
It's the MITO token and the blockchain behind it, built to take DeFi deposits from other networks. The word also means cell division, so a search can send you to biology pages.
What is tMITO?
It's a locked form of MITO from the Genesis Airdrop. The docs promise 2.5 times the original allocation after 180 days, but the contract carried no end date at the early-November 2026 close.
What is the 2030 price of Mitosis?
We put 2030 at $0.0100-$0.0166 in the base case, set from the early-November 2026 close of about $0.00796. That's a range, and there's no single target.
Can MITO get back to its all-time high?
None of our ranges get there. The highest figure in our 2030 row, $0.0395, is about 13% of the September 2025 closing high of about $0.314.
Bottom Line
The 181 million figure makes MITO look like a tiny float, the coins free to trade, that a little buying could send flying. The chain says the float could be about four times bigger. That's why we keep our ranges low even after a 97% fall.
We'd watch one level, one date and one number. A close under about $0.00712 breaks our base case. An end date on tMITO starts a clock on 61.8 million MITO. Hub deposits back above their end-2025 levels would do more for our 2030 range than anything on the chart.
