Key Points

Discover what Nakamoto Games is, why its NAKA crypto surged 54% in 2026, and the risks and details behind its play-to-earn model. Explore more now.

Nakamoto Games (NAKA) is a play-to-earn gaming platform whose NAKA token closed 29 September 2026 up 54.45%, its highest close of 2026 on CoinMarketCap's daily series. Players pay $1 or $5 buy-ins in NAKA to enter skill-game rooms on Polygon, and no dated announcement from the project explains the jump.

NAKA rose from $0.0925899 on 28 September to $0.143003 on 29 September after touching $0.15942 intraday, CoinMarketCap's figures show. That was its biggest one-day gain of 2026 and its best close since 2 November 2025, on $2,956,673 of volume, the most for any day of 2026. At 13:00 UTC on 30 September its Polygon pools held $115,671 of liquidity.

What Is Nakamoto Games (NAKA)?

Nakamoto Games is a browser and mobile gaming platform where players compete in short skill games for prize pools paid in NAKA. It belongs to the category our explainer on what GameFi is and how it works covers, where a game's economy runs on a crypto token.

The project's own introduction in its docs says it has launched more than 200 games and has over 200,000 registered players. It presents its games as contests of skill with no luck involved, and neither figure carries a date.

The Nakamoto Games crypto token lives on Polygon, and CoinGecko lists no other chain for it. The terms on the project's tokenomics page call NAKA "strictly a utility token" that gives holders no claim on company revenue or assets.

Nakamoto Games is trending because of the 29 September bar. NAKA closed at $0.143003, up 54.45% from $0.0925899, the largest one-day gain in the 272 daily bars CoinMarketCap holds for 2026. The runner-up was 10 January, when NAKA rose 52.9%. CoinGecko's daily series puts the 29 September gain at 52.7%, from $0.092698 to $0.141580, and this page uses CoinMarketCap's figures throughout.

The move capped a September run. NAKA gained 45.90% on 8 September, and the 29 September close stood 211.4% above the 31 August close of $0.0459288. It was also 6.58 times the 2026 low close of $0.0217354 on 30 June. CoinGecko dates the token's all-time low of $0.02115 to 28 June 2026, three months before the spike.

No dated announcement explains the jump. Coinfomania's 29 September report on the rally says "no confirmed catalysts have been identified". The newest post on the project's website blog was dated 1 August 2025 when read on 30 September. The roadmap in its docs stops at the fourth quarter of 2025.

The day's $2,956,673 of volume beat every day since 10 December 2025 on CoinMarketCap. GeckoTerminal's daily bars show the three largest Polygon pools traded only $256,582 of it, so roughly nine dollars in ten changed hands on centralised venues.

On-chain depth is thin by comparison. DexScreener counted $115,671 of liquidity across NAKA's Polygon pools at 13:00 UTC on 30 September. A QuickSwap NAKA/USDC pool led with $71,448, ahead of two Uniswap pools against wrapped POL with $30,344 and $11,874. The 29 September volume was about 26 times that depth, a mismatch that shows up as the slippage our guide to what slippage is and how it can be managed explains.

How Does Nakamoto Games Work?

Every Nakamoto Games match runs in a room of up to eight players who all pay the same buy-in of $1 or $5. The project's gaming reward system page says the buy-in is priced in dollars and paid in NAKA, through in-game items such as tickets and bullets.

A room pays out when all eight players have posted a score, or after 24 hours, and the docs compare the split to a poker prize pool. The winner takes 35% of the pool, the runner-up 22% and third place 15%. The other five players lose part of their stake. Another 8% goes to fees, which fund a weekly prize for the top ten players, the game's developer and Nakamoto Games itself.

A full $1 room puts $8 in the pool. The winner collects $2.80 in NAKA for a 180% profit, while the fourth-placed player gets $0.80 back and the last gets $0.08.

Because every room is priced in dollars, the number of tokens a player needs falls as NAKA rises. A $1 buy-in took about 10.80 NAKA at the 28 September close and 6.99 NAKA at the 29 September close. The spike cut the tokens each room absorbs by 35%.

A 2 September 2026 report from eGamers on the Roblox release says the studio had published a Roblox title with five games in development at once. The same report describes a Web2-first plan that leaves NAKA optional for players.

Nakamoto Games Tokenomics

Method: every balance below comes from direct reads of the NAKA contract on Polygon at block 94,711,940, at 12:57 UTC on 30 September 2026. The contract rules come from its verified source code.

NAKA has a hard cap of 180,000,000 tokens, and all of them exist. The contract refuses any mint above the cap, and a minting-finished switch in its code reads true, so no new NAKA can ever be created. The owner key hasn't been renounced, but it belongs to an ordinary wallet that holds no NAKA. The code can't pause transfers or freeze a wallet, and it isn't an upgradeable proxy.

The allocation chart on the project's tokenomics page splits the 180 million into sale rounds of 55 million and a Play-to-Earn Vault of 40 million. Team and advisors got 25 million, operational reserves 20 million and player sponsoring 15 million. A game development fund and developer sponsoring took 10 million each, and salaries 5 million.

The census: CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko both print a circulating supply of 98,195,000 NAKA. That is exactly 180 million minus the 81,805,000 NAKA in the seven project wallets the docs list. It puts every token outside those wallets in the aggregators' circulating count, exchange balances included.

The docs' own transparency table doesn't match the chain in four places. It lists the Play-to-Earn Vault at 20,000,200 NAKA, and the wallet holds 20,200,000. Operational Reserves shows 36,348 against a real balance of zero. One fund wallet listed at 10,000,000 holds 6,605,000, and the Game Development Fund and Developer Sponsoring rows each print one address and link to the other. The same page gives its circulating supply as 85,036,548, the total it shows for its own dev wallets.

The team lock lives in the docs. The chart locks the team's 20 million for 18 months plus 12 months of linear vesting, and the page's text says 36 months. On-chain, the Team and Advisor wallet is an ordinary address that holds 25,000,000 NAKA and has never sent a transaction.

Which NAKA Contract Is the Real One?

The real NAKA is the Polygon contract 0x311434160D7537be358930def317AfB606C0D737. A DexScreener search at 13:01 UTC on 30 September found one other token trading as NAKA. It is "Naka Go" on Solana, with $7,150 of liquidity in a pool opened on 8 July 2025.

Two unrelated businesses also use the name. Nakamoto Inc.'s common stock trades on Nasdaq as NAKA, and a crypto card payments company brands itself NAKA.

How to Buy NAKA Safely

Phemex's product list, read on 30 September 2026, carries no NAKA market in spot or futures. Anyone buying the token elsewhere is buying an asset on Polygon, Ethereum's internet of blockchains, so the contract address is the check that matters most.

A wallet or swap screen should show the contract ending in D737 on Polygon, because a search by name alone can land on Solana's Naka Go.

Size matters more than venue here. The QuickSwap NAKA/USDC pool held $71,448 at 13:00 UTC on 30 September, about $35,700 on each side. Under its constant-product formula, a single $5,000 buy routed through that pool alone would lift its price by about 30%. Splitting a large order into smaller ones keeps that cost down.

What Are the Risks of Nakamoto Games?

Every Big 2026 Spike Has Faded

NAKA's 52.9% jump on 10 January came on $2,936,787 of volume, close to the 29 September figure. By 29 January the close was back below where that spike started. By the 30 June low close, NAKA had lost 83.4% from its 10 January close. The 49.2% jump on 5 July unwound by 30 July. A spike with no news and most of its volume on centralised venues matches the warning signs in our guide to how to spot and avoid a pump and dump. The data proves nothing about anyone's intent, only how thin the market is.

81.8 Million NAKA in Project Wallets

The six funded project wallets hold 81,805,000 NAKA, or 45.45% of supply. The four largest wallets that explorer labels tie to exchanges hold another 24.10%, and together those ten addresses held 69.55% at 12:57 UTC on 30 September. The team's 25 million alone equals 25.5% of the circulating supply, and no code stops it from moving. It's the dilution risk our explainer on circulating supply versus total supply walks through.

Records That Don't Match the Chain

A transparency page that gets three balances and two addresses wrong asks holders to check every figure themselves. The same page marks token vesting as completed while it describes a 36-month team lock, and no contract enforces either statement.

A Rising Price Shrinks Game Demand

Dollar-priced rooms mean game demand for NAKA falls in token terms as the price climbs. The studio's Roblox plan also leaves the token optional for players, and the project's own terms carry the line "You may lose all funds spent acquiring $NAKA."

Is Nakamoto Games a Good Investment?

Nothing dated on 29 September changed what NAKA is. The contract and the room rules were the same on 28 September, and the one new fact is a price that rose 54.45% on volume that mostly traded off-chain.

For NAKA to hold a gain like this, paying players have to absorb more tokens through buy-ins than the project wallets can release. The dated record points the other way. The 29 September close stands 97.9% below CoinGecko's all-time high of $6.71 from 30 October 2021. At that close NAKA's market value was $14,042,152, or $25.74 million fully diluted.

It suits a player who wants to buy into $1 and $5 rooms, and a trader who sizes positions to about $115,000 of on-chain depth. It doesn't suit anyone who must sell a large NAKA position on Polygon in one order, since the biggest pool held about $35,700 of USDC.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Nakamoto Games legit?

Nakamoto Games runs a live platform on a verified token contract, and its docs list a SolidProof audit of that contract. CoinGecko's price history for NAKA starts on 15 October 2021, and the QuickSwap NAKA/USDC pool opened on 8 December 2021.

Who created Nakamoto Games?

The team page in the project's docs credits NAKA Ventures, a software and game studio in Bangkok. It puts the studio's staff at more than 150 people.

Where can I buy NAKA?

Phemex doesn't list NAKA in spot or futures, so buyers use Polygon pools such as QuickSwap's NAKA/USDC market or centralised venues. Every route has to end at the contract ending in D737.

What is the NAKA crypto price?

NAKA closed 29 September 2026 at $0.143003 on CoinMarketCap's daily series, the last settled close this page uses. That's up 112.0% from the $0.0674571 close of 31 December 2025.

Final Thoughts

NAKA's best day of 2026 happened mostly away from the chain it lives on. The token's own economy pulls the other way, with dollar-priced rooms that need fewer tokens as the price climbs. Its project wallets hold 81.8 million NAKA under published balances that disagree with the chain. Until a dated catalyst appears, watch the Team and Advisor wallet's 25 million NAKA, because moving all of it would grow the circulating supply by a quarter.
