Tencent is developing a standalone Personal Agent application called "Yuanbao Assistant," designed to operate independently from the main Yuanbao platform. The new app will possess dedicated operating permissions to support core agent capabilities, including long-cycle task execution and long-term personal memory retention. Multiple business units within Tencent, including the social division, are simultaneously developing related products and features to expand the company's AI agent ecosystem. This strategic separation aims to provide the assistant with the autonomous operational space necessary for advanced personal agent functions.
