Less than 0.5% of trading days accounted for gains large enough to cut Bitcoin's cumulative return by more than half during this period. Pandl emphasizes that because these peak performance days are unpredictable, attempting to time the market carries significant opportunity cost for investors seeking long-term capital appreciation.
