Coinbase selected ION’s XTP platform to provide clearing infrastructure for Kalshi’s event contracts as it expands its prediction market business. ION said XTP automates contract creation, adjudication and settlement while supporting 24/7 processing and real-time trading. The system processed more than 1 million Kalshi transactions during its initial launch over Super Bowl weekend.
