Circle has natively deployed USDC and EURC on the Plasma chain and launched its Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol and Bridge Kit, expanding stablecoin and transfer infrastructure for the stablecoin-focused Layer 1. CCTP allows users to move USDC across chains by burning tokens on the source chain, receiving a Circle signature attestation, and minting the same amount on the destination chain without wrapped USDC or liquidity pools. Circle said eligible institutions can access fiat on- and off-ramps through Plasma, while developers can integrate USDC and EURC into applications. USDC now has native support on 37 blockchains, EURC on 8 chains, and CCTP spans 28 chains.
