Canada's small-value stablecoin and Bitcoin remittances to India, the Philippines, and China reached $2.36 billion in 2026, surging 141% year-over-year across 3.56 million transactions with an average size of $663 per transfer. The three countries now account for 19.4% of Canada's total cross-border stablecoin outflows, up from 10.9% a year earlier, according to Chainalysis. On the AI payments front, US-funded agents represent 30% of geolocatable x402 AI agent service transactions, while US wallets dominate AI model inference trades at 88.1%. Cumulative x402 transactions on Base have reached 138.5 million by Q3 2026, compared to just 58,800 in Q3 2025, reflecting explosive growth in machine-to-machine crypto payments.
