Intersect, the organization supporting Cardano's development and operations, has urged node operators to patch a Linux vulnerability that could allow attackers to execute arbitrary code on block producer and relay infrastructure. Red Hat confirmed that the flaw can be exploited without requiring any credentials, significantly lowering the barrier for potential attacks. Intersect advised operators to update their block producers and relays as fixes become available and reboot affected systems to ensure patches take effect.
