Binance Research reports that the market value of transferable tokenized real-world assets (RWA) has reached $31.4 billion, up from approximately $21.5 billion at the start of 2026, and nearly five times the value at the beginning of 2025. U.S. Treasury-related tokens account for about half of this value, while gold-backed commodity tokens are valued at approximately $5.1 billion, and tokenized stocks at around $1.5 billion. The report highlights that the tokenization penetration rate for major asset classes remains around 0.01%. Under a base scenario, the tokenized asset market could grow to approximately $1.6 trillion by 2030, with conservative and optimistic scenarios projecting market sizes of $320 billion and $4.8 trillion, respectively. Future growth is contingent on the maturity of infrastructure such as regulation, custody, settlement, liquidity, and institutional distribution.
