The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has added digital asset private fund "E Fund" and two associated websites to its list of unlicensed companies. The regulator identified the entity for operating without proper authorization in the jurisdiction.
The SFC stated that E Fund falsely claimed on its websites that the digital asset private fund had received regulatory approval. Investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing with entities appearing on the commission's unlicensed firms list.
