Cambodian courts have frozen nearly $1 billion in assets tied to the Prince Group, including buildings, casinos, and thousands of real estate properties. Investigators identified 198 affiliated companies—98 based in Cambodia and 100 overseas—with law enforcement suspecting some were used for online fraud operations.
The freeze does not constitute formal confiscation. Cambodian authorities are evaluating options for managing the assets, including temporary state control or seeking final forfeiture through court proceedings. Minister of State Chhay Sinarith confirmed the investigation has been underway for several months.
Courts have issued arrest warrants for 32 individuals connected to the case, while four others remain under judicial supervision.
