Bitcoin is approaching a golden cross, with its 50-day moving average set to rise above the 200-day moving average, a technical pattern often viewed as bullish. Historical data cited in CoinDesk analysis shows Bitcoin has recorded 12 golden crosses since 2012. Among the nine instances with measurable three-month returns, the average gain was 24.9%.
Only three of those signals remained intact for a full year without reversing into a death cross, delivering an average one-year gain of 250%. At the same time, USDT market dominance is nearing a death cross, with its 50-day moving average about to fall below the 200-day average. A drop in USDT dominance typically signals capital rotating out of stablecoins and into risk assets such as Bitcoin, reinforcing the bullish setup for the current rebound.
