Alliance co-founder Qiao Wang said the biggest difference between Bitcoin and Zcash is not privacy or quantum resistance, but Zcash’s ability to keep evolving and upgrading while Bitcoin remains largely ossified. Wang described the contrast as a trade-off rather than a matter of superiority. He said Bitcoin’s ossification strengthens immutability and fixed supply guarantees, while Zcash may better adapt to emerging threats such as quantum computing and user needs such as growing privacy concerns. He added that believers in non-sovereign money should hold both, with allocation based on maturity and risk levels.
