The XRP Ledger (XRPL) has emerged as the fourth-largest blockchain by represented tokenized real-world asset (RWA) value, surpassing Ethereum and Polygon. XRPL now holds $1.4 billion in tokenized RWA, marking a 266% increase over the past month. This growth positions XRPL ahead of Ethereum, which has seen a 30.09% decline to $208.6 million, placing it ninth, and Polygon, which holds $817.1 million, ranking fifth.
The surge in XRPL's RWA value is attributed to significant contributions from assets like JMWH, a tokenized energy commodity, and the Anita Diamonds Collection. Despite its impressive growth in represented RWA, XRPL still ranks tenth in distributed RWA, with $235.7 million, while Ethereum leads this category with $15.6 billion. Overall, XRPL is now the sixth-largest blockchain when considering both represented and distributed RWA, with a total of $1.7 billion.
