Strategy has transferred 58,390 Bitcoins, valued at $5.1 billion, to Fidelity Custody over the past two months as part of its strategy to diversify custodians and reduce reliance on Coinbase. This move is part of a broader effort to manage its substantial Bitcoin holdings, which total 641,692 BTC, worth approximately $56.14 billion.
Fidelity Custody uses a commingled account system, meaning Strategy's Bitcoins are mixed with those of other clients. This transfer has resulted in more of Strategy's Bitcoin appearing under Fidelity Custody's name on the Arkham platform. Currently, Arkham tracks about 92% of Strategy's Bitcoin holdings, with 165,709 BTC, valued at $14.5 billion, now under Fidelity's custody.
