Lightning Labs CTO Olaoluwa Osuntokun has developed the first operational prototype of a Bitcoin anti-quantum wallet rescue tool. This tool is designed to prevent millions of wallets from being permanently frozen in the event of an emergency anti-quantum defense upgrade on the network, which could be necessitated by vulnerabilities in the current signature system.
