Instinct, the startup developing a personal AI assistant, is reportedly in talks to raise $1 billion at a valuation of about $10 billion. Sequoia Capital and Benchmark are discussing leading the round, which has not been finalized and whose terms and lead investor could change.
The potential valuation would mark a sharp increase from the company’s previous financing. PitchBook data shows Spear Street Technology, the startup behind Instinct, raised $250 million at a $2.25 billion pre-money valuation less than a month ago. The company has raised $350 million from investors to date, while its invite-only AI agent service has grown to more than 100,000 users and faces capacity constraints as access expands.
