Hong Kong police have arrested 15 individuals in connection with a robbery involving 1 billion yen at a cryptocurrency exchange in Sheung Wan. The incident occurred when two Japanese employees attempted to exchange the yen, equivalent to approximately HK$50 million, for cryptocurrency and Hong Kong dollars. The victims were robbed at knifepoint. Seven of the arrested individuals have been charged with conspiracy to rob. Authorities are actively investigating the whereabouts of the stolen funds, with further arrests possible as the investigation continues.
