A 32-year-old man in Hong Kong, who held a master's degree and was pursuing another, died by suicide after suffering significant financial losses in cryptocurrency investments. The man, who had been struggling with mental health issues due to unemployment, reportedly lost approximately HKD 10 million in crypto investments. Upon returning from the UK, he took his life in front of his father at their home in Cheung Sha Wan, despite his father's attempts to intervene.
