A 39-year-old South Korean man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly trying to poison his business partner following a failed cryptocurrency investment. Prosecutors claim the suspect, who lost approximately $810,000 in a secret Bitcoin investment, attempted to kill his partner to gain control of their jointly founded company. The suspect reportedly purchased $200 worth of the banned pesticide methomyl and added it to an iced latte served to the victim at a Seoul cafe. The victim fell into a coma but regained consciousness three days later. The trial is set to begin on March 10th.
