Ethlabs reviewed more than 60 EIPs proposed for the Ethereum Hegotá upgrade and updated its priority recommendations around four areas: censorship resistance, transaction confirmation speed, native account abstraction, and performance optimization.
The group supports FOCIL to strengthen Ethereum’s censorship resistance and neutrality, recommends introducing shorter slots through Quick Slots, and backs native account abstraction via Frame Transactions. The proposal includes support for passkey wallets, sponsored transactions, token-based gas payments, batch transactions, stronger privacy, and quantum-resistant security.
Ethlabs also said client and protocol design should continue prioritizing performance, with optimization gains used to increase L1 capacity, shorten slots, and reduce node operation requirements.
