Empirik, an infrastructure prediction startup incubated by Sequoia Capital, has spun out as an independent company and closed a $21 million seed round backed by Sequoia Capital, Canapi, and Alumni Ventures.
The company uses AI to monitor system changes, predict their impact, and issue alerts before failures occur. Its platform can approve low-risk changes, apply guardrails to large-scale changes, and flag dangerous updates for human review. Empirik said it already serves Fortune 500 customers including S&P Global and Guardant Health.
