Anthropic said it will spend $45 billion to lease capacity from Nscale’s data center project in West Virginia. Nscale plans to invest $71 billion to develop the project. Under the agreement, Anthropic will receive 460 megawatts of computing capacity from the Nscale data center, securing large-scale infrastructure for its AI operations.
