OpenAI executive Chris Malone, who oversaw data center construction, has left the company. An OpenAI spokesperson confirmed Malone is no longer with the company and said the infrastructure division was reorganized earlier this year. People familiar with the matter said OpenAI is restarting some data center plans, particularly projects involving the leasing of entire facilities.
