The Avalanche Foundation has announced the second round of its Retro9000 funding program, distributing over $250,000 to eight projects that have launched on the Avalanche mainnet. These projects span various sectors, including Layer 1 blockchain and infrastructure tool development, and aim to enhance the Avalanche ecosystem. Notable recipients include Artery Chain, which is building an AI-native Web3 gaming ecosystem, and CodeNekt, which focuses on blockchain solutions for vehicle identity management. Other funded projects include Tixbase, zeroone, NUMINE, Letsbuyhealthcare, Bango, and Quboid, each contributing to different aspects of blockchain technology and infrastructure. The foundation requires all projects to complete Know Your Business (KYB) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes before receiving funds. The Retro9000 program will continue to support projects showing significant progress, with the next funding snapshot set for October 14, 2025.
