AI computing infrastructure startup Crusoe has secured $3.9 billion in Series F funding, reaching a post-money valuation of approximately $30.9 billion. The round was co-led by Atreides Management, Valor Equity Partners, and Mubadala Investment, with additional participation from Founders Fund, TPG, and the Qatar Investment Authority.
Founded in 2018 as a crypto mining service provider before pivoting to AI infrastructure, Crusoe previously constructed a major data center in Abilene, Texas, to supply computing power for OpenAI and Microsoft. The company is now transitioning to "Spark," a line of compact, prefabricated data centers designed for rapid deployment at sites with idle electricity to accelerate AI inference capabilities.
