AI chip startup Positron raised $875 million at a $5 billion valuation, marking a sharp increase from its February round, when it secured $230 million at a $1 billion valuation.
The round was co-led by NEA, Atreides Management, Valor Equity Partners, Andra Capital, SemiAnalysis Capital, and Netscape co-founder Jim Clark. Positron said it has delivered about 50 units of its previous-generation Atlas server rack to Oracle, with other clients including Jump Trading and Parasail.
