Serenity, known as the “White-Haired Stock God,” said Elite Semiconductor Memory Technology may mirror SanDisk’s strong rally in the coming months, citing July results that imply monthly net profit of about $111 million against a market cap of roughly $2.8 billion.
Serenity said ESMT still has room for valuation re-rating, with the opportunity focused on traditional and niche storage markets. A DDR2 storage chip currently costs about $0.96, and a tripling in average selling price would add roughly $2 per chip, potentially boosting ESMT profits if storage prices keep rising.
SLC NAND average selling prices are expected to rise 120% to 170% in the second half of the year, while NOR Flash and other products also face price increase expectations.
