On-chain security incidents have reached record highs month after month since August, according to Blockaid co-founder Ido Ben-Natan. Attackers are increasingly targeting on-chain infrastructure due to high profit potential, with risks expected to escalate further as AI agents gain access to larger capital pools. Ben-Natan stated that Blockaid is currently experiencing its busiest period ever, driven significantly by a surge in hacker attacks. The warning coincides with predictions from Nansen CEO Alex Svanevik that trading crypto assets via AI agents rather than manual interfaces will become the industry norm by 2028.
