Uphold has launched a $RLUSD Earn product leveraging DeFi lending protocols, offering users up to 7% variable annual percentage yield (APY) on Ripple's USD stablecoin. The program utilizes a vault curated by SentoraHQ, which moves deposited assets off Uphold's platform and into smart contracts for yield generation. Unlike traditional custodial savings products, withdrawals from the RLUSD Earn vault are subject to lending-market liquidity conditions. This means user access to funds may vary depending on the state of the underlying DeFi lending pools rather than being guaranteed at any moment.
