The UK Reform Party intends to establish the Allied Computer & Crypto Workers Union (ACCAW) to circumvent potential restrictions on foreign donations proposed by the Labour government. Senior aide Arron Banks stated the certified union would represent IT, AI, and cryptocurrency workers and can legally receive funds if new residency requirements invalidate recent contributions.
This strategy follows £72 million in cryptocurrency billionaire donations received by the party last week, which Labour seeks to retroactively disqualify through stricter donor rules. As an alternative measure, Reform Party also plans to encourage supporters to join existing unions in large numbers to achieve a reverse takeover for fundraising purposes.
