trade.xyz launched an Events market on its Hyperliquid-based trading platform, enabling users to trade real-world event contracts within a unified account alongside spot BTC deposits, USDC borrowing through portfolio margin and perpetual contracts for Pre-IPO assets such as SpaceX. The first batch of Up/Down event contracts covers stocks, commodities and Pre-IPO assets. trade.xyz said liquidity and continuous price discovery will be supported by its perpetual contract market deployed on Hyperliquid HIP-3, with outcomes determined by the XYZ market price rather than external oracles. The platform said it plans to add more event categories and contract types in the future.
