Tether will contribute €28.8 million (approximately $32.16 million) to Juventus' proposed €250 million capital increase, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. The stablecoin issuer holds roughly 11.5% of the Italian football club and will fund its proportional share of the raise initiated by major shareholder Exor. At the November 3 shareholders' meeting, Tether abstained on all other ordinary proposals, including approval of financial statements reporting a €66 million loss, director appointments, and an executive incentive plan. In December 2025, Tether had proposed to the Agnelli family holding company to acquire all of Juventus' shares but was rejected.
