Talis Protocol suffered a marketplace and auction contract exploit on Injective on October 31, with an attacker stealing approximately 5,700 escrowed NFTs and selling them through public collection offers. The team has paused new listings and auctions across all supported chains while deploying a fix, and has already returned more than 26,000 NFTs from the contracts to their original owners.
Talis recorded all affected NFTs, their pre-theft owners, and filled bids, and is developing a plan to return the stolen assets and compensate impacted bidders. A full post-mortem report is expected to follow.
