Strategy CEO Phong Le said the company’s renewed Bitcoin purchases are based on a long-term strategy rather than market price moves. In an interview with Bloomberg Crypto, Le said Strategy holds $72 billion in assets, including $65 billion in Bitcoin and $7 billion in dollar assets, while the company’s net debt has fallen to zero.
Le said Strategy uses a two-way capital management approach that balances net Bitcoin accumulation with operating company discipline, and plans to keep buying at $80,000, $100,000, $130,000 and higher levels. He also said digital assets should be treated as operating assets in the MSCI proposal debate, adding that principle matters more than potential index-flow effects. Le said Strategy has raised $20 billion in equity capital, ranking it as the fourth-largest equity issuer in the United States, and that demand for a Bitcoin treasury remains in place.
