Starknet (STRK) token holders voted with over 93.5% of voting power in favor of a research proposal to explore transitioning the network from an Ethereum Layer 2 to an independent, quantum-resistant Layer 1 blockchain. StarkWare plans to release a draft whitepaper in November outlining potential technical paths for the migration.
