Global asset manager Schroders, which oversees $1.1 trillion in assets, announced a partnership with tokenization platform Centrifuge to bring its SISF Emerging Market Bonds strategy onchain via Solana. The product operates as a feeder fund with an onchain share class investing directly into the Schroders emerging market bond fund, allowing investors to hold tokenized shares of the feeder fund. This marks Schroders' first product deployment on Solana.
The move follows Schroders receiving approval from Irish regulators in August 2026 to launch SOAR, its first tokenized USD money market fund share class. According to RWA.xyz data, tokenized U.S. Treasuries and money market funds account for approximately $14 billion within the broader $39 billion tokenized real-world asset market.
