SBI Holdings, crypto payment firm Mesh, and fintech provider Money Forward announced plans to form a joint venture aimed at building an interoperability layer for Japan's digital assets. The initiative will focus on account interoperability between exchanges and wallets, compliant stablecoin infrastructure, tokenized asset management, and cross-border payment channels spanning digital assets, stablecoins, and fiat currencies.
