Samsung Group has committed $1 billion to U.S. AI infrastructure company Helix Digital Infrastructure, with participation from subsidiaries Samsung Electronics, Samsung SDS, and Samsung SDI. The investment aims to expand Samsung's presence in the rapidly growing AI infrastructure market.
Helix was founded in June by KKR, the Kuwait Investment Authority, Nvidia, and power producer Vistra, and is led by former Amazon Web Services CEO Adam Selipsky. The company operates across semiconductors, data centers, cloud computing, and finance sectors.
