Robinhood Chain is evaluating Arbitrum’s Priority Gas Auctions technology to allow users to pay fees for prioritized transaction processing. The Layer-2 blockchain, which currently operates on a first-come, first-served basis, is assessing the system that enables traders to secure faster execution by bidding higher gas fees.
Arbitrum replaced its previous Timeboost model with Priority Gas Auctions on September 24, shifting from a fixed 200-millisecond head start to a dynamic fee-based ordering mechanism. Robinhood Chain has not utilized the earlier Timeboost application and is now considering this newer iteration as it continues to scale.
Since launching its Ethereum-compatible network in July, Robinhood Chain has rapidly gained traction, entering the top 10 blockchains ranked by total value locked. The potential adoption of priority sequencing would mark a significant shift in how the chain handles transaction ordering for its growing user base.
