Robinhood co-founder and CEO Vlad Tenev announced during a public AMA that tokenized stocks are now live on Robinhood Chain, fully permissionless and open for developer integration. AI agents can also directly interact with the network. Tenev stated the team built its own chain after concluding no existing ecosystem could fully meet their specific needs. Robinhood Chain aims to become the go-to public blockchain for real-world assets (RWA) and meme tokens. Tenev believes RWA and crypto assets are converging into a single category, creating an order-of-magnitude growth opportunity. On the product front, Robinhood has integrated on-chain features across multiple surfaces, including a dApp browser and trending token displays in Robinhood Wallet, as well as updated search and Crypto sections in the main app.
